Work

My work since 2010 has focused on designing and testing new systems that build connectivity back into the everyday lives of people living in cities and towns.  Citizen innovators from across the world have been inventing new models of local collaboration through practical participatory projects. Learning from these ideas we have been developing an approach over the last 13 years aimed at discovering what essential new participatory infrastructures are needed to support these types of activity - at scale - and for the long term.

These are neighbourhoods where we have closer friendships with our neighbours, greater collective agency to do things together, and all the public tools we need to co-create and act on all the challenges we face as a society.
